Our client, a leading organization in the technology and enterprise solutions sector, is seeking a Application Architect (Java/j2EE) DE to join their team. As a Application Architect (Java/j2EE) DE, you will be part of the Technology and Innovation Department supporting the Application Development and Architecture teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Application Architect (Java/j2EE) DE

What's the Job?
Design, guide, and oversee the architecture of critical enterprise applications
Partner with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technical leads to deliver scalable and secure solutions
Lead technical design decisions that align with enterprise standards and strategies
Support cloud-native applications and modern development practices
Perform architectural reviews, analyze technical debt, and evaluate solution alternatives
What's Needed?
10+ years in software development and application design
5+ years acting as an Application Architect, Technical Lead, or similar role
Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, and enterprise application frameworks
Experience designing multitier and microservices-based architectures
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration patterns
