QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript)

Their programs support learners from elementary through high school and are used in all 50 states, across 21,000+ schools, serving over 10 million students.

Our client is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join their growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of nextgeneration educational products used across the United States. This role involves building robust automation frameworks, driving quality initiatives across the development lifecycle, and collaborating closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver highimpact solutions for millions of learners.

• Build and maintain end-to-end automated tests (UI, API, integration)
• Develop and evolve JS-based automation frameworks for web apps and backend services
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with parallel execution
• Collaborate with product, frontend, backend, and DevOps teams on quality strategy
• Identify quality risks early and drive improvements across the SDLC
• Maintain clear test documentation and automation guidelines
• 2+ years of experience in QA Automation
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress
• Solid API testing experience (REST; GraphQL is a plus)
• Understanding of test architecture and automation best practices
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
