Experience:
BS degree Engineering ( Chemical Engineer preferred).
5+ years of supervisory experience, ideally over a technical group in an industrial environment.
Operations and or technical experience in a chemical plant or other high hazard ( PSM) environment.
- Demonstrated leadership capability personnel development, leading teams, resolving conflict, sound judgment
Demonstrated ability to teach, coach, mentor develop others, and work in a team-based environment.
- Project management experience desired.
Six Sigma and Lean Enterprise certification is preferred
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Works with operations leadership to define goals ( safety, asset productivity and quality) and budget forecasts.
- Will supervise a group of Manufacturing Technology Engineers in support of capital projects and technology transfer
- Responsible for implementing corporate best practices as a member of manufacturing technology leadership for the development of technical resources and to support the safe and efficient operation of the plants.
- Ensure projects meet site manufacturing, PSM and workplace safety needs.
Provides leadership to the capital processes, including scope and basic data development, project oversight and equipment commissioning.
