Kforce has a client in Franklin, NC that is seeking an AI Product Manager to help teams turn ideas into working AI-powered solutions. This role is focused on building, prototyping, and enabling, not traditional product management. You'll work directly with teams across the business to explore how AI can improve their workflows, guide them in creating custom GPTs and tools, and help establish simple, scalable ways to apply AI across the organization.This is a highly hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys experimenting, building quickly, and showing others how to do the same.

Key Responsibilities:Build & Prototype AI Solutions

  • Partner with internal teams to understand problems and identify AI-driven opportunities
  • Build lightweight solutions such as custom GPTs, prompt libraries, and simple workflows
  • Rapidly prototype ideas to demonstrate what's possible
  • Focus on -good and working- over -perfect and over-engineered-

Product Thinking for Internal AI:

  • Help define simple, repeatable patterns for how AI solutions should be built and used
  • Create reusable frameworks (prompts, rules, workflows, templates) that scale across teams
  • Identify what should become standardized vs. one-off solutions
  • Bring structure to how AI tools are introduced and adopted without heavy process

Enable Teams to Build Themselves:

  • Guide teams on how to create and use their own AI tools
  • Show -how to build it- rather than owning every build yourself
  • Support teams as they test and iterate on their own use cases
  • Act as a hands-on advisor for AI-related questions

Experiment and Drive Adoption Through Use:

  • Stay current on emerging AI tools and capabilities
  • Bring new ideas and use cases into the organization
  • Test quickly, learn fast, and iterate based on real usage
  • Help teams move from curiosity to practical application* 2-6 years of experience in product, design, innovation, or hands-on technical roles
  • Strong familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, copilots, prompt engineering, automation tools, etc.)
  • Experience building or experimenting with custom GPTs, workflows, or AI-driven solutions
  • Product mindset: ability to take an idea and turn it into something usable
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and figuring things out without a defined playbook
  • Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have:

  • Background in UX, design, or creative technology (SCAD-type profile)
  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, or no-code/low-code platforms
  • Experience creating internal tools or productivity solutions
  • Exposure to prompt libraries, agent workflows, or AI system design
