Senior Technical Project Manager

Kforce has a client seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager in Toronto, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Support defined program scope, governance structures, and execution plans in collaboration with business and IT leadership
• Direct internal and external project teams, including business analysts, architects, developers, and vendor partners
• Manage large-scale budgets, timelines, resource allocations, and interdependencies across multiple workstreams
• Drive stakeholder engagement and leadership alignment, ensuring goals, expectations, and risks are well-communicated and proactively managed
• Oversee suppliers and resources leading process redesign and change management efforts in support system adoption and operational improvement
• Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live support
• Ensure data integrity and seamless migration from legacy platforms
• Report program health, KPIs, and key milestones to executive steering committees and senior leadership* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred)
• 5 years of project management experience
• Proven experience with Finance and HR ERP systems (e.g., SAP ECC, Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM, Workday, etc)
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional global teams and managing multiple vendors or system integrators
• Deep understanding of finance and HR business processes, controls, and regulatory requirements
• Expertise in project and portfolio management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and lead at all organizational levels
