Senior IT Manager - Direct Hire Opportunity
The Senior IT Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that systems, infrastructure, and data remain secure, reliable, and aligned with business needs.
This position is both strategic and hands-on. You will lead IT operations across multiple locations while supporting the day-to-day needs of employees and leadership. You’ll help build a scalable, technology-enabled environment that supports rapid growth and operational excellence.
IT Operations & Infrastructure
- Oversee daily IT operations, including networks, servers, systems, and end-user support
- Ensure system uptime, performance, and reliability across all locations
- Manage hardware/software lifecycle: procurement, installation, maintenance
- Support ERP, HRIS (e.g., UKG), and other business-critical systems
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Develop and enforce IT security policies and best practices
- Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents
- Ensure compliance with data protection and industry standards
- Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans
Vendor & SaaS Management
- Manage IT vendors, service providers, and consultants
- Oversee SaaS applications, licensing, renewals, and usage
- Track contracts and monitor vendor performance
Team Leadership & Support
- Lead and develop IT staff or external service providers
- Provide hands-on support for escalated technical issues
- Establish service levels and ensure timely resolution of IT requests
- Foster a customer-service mindset within IT support
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in a manufacturing or multi-site environment required
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience (systems administration, network management)
- 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, servers, and cloud environments
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
- Familiarity with ERP systems and HRIS platforms (UKG a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft environments (Office 365, Active Directory, etc.)
