.NET DeveloperContract to hireLocation: 100% RemotePay: $50-65 per hour DOEPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to design, build, and maintain web applications and integrations that support our business operations. The role focuses on delivering high-quality solutions using C#, ASP.NET, SQL and JavaScript while working closely with product owners and cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain web applications and services using C# and ASP.NET.Develop and optimize database schemas, queries and stored procedures using SQL to support application performance and data integrity.Implement client-side functionality and interactive features using JavaScript and related libraries or frameworks.Work with APIs and external services to exchange data; design and consume RESTful endpoints where applicable.Collaborate with product managers, designers and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions and deliverables.Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and follow best practices for maintainability, security and performance.Monitor and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes and improvements.Qualifications3+ years of experience developing applications with C# and ASP.NET in a production environment.Strong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing queries, stored procedures and understanding of relational database design.Proficient with JavaScript for client-side development and familiarity with common libraries or frameworks.Experience building or consuming REST APIs is a strong plus.Familiarity with source control systems (Git), automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
