Director of IT and Health Systems

Director of Information Technology and Health Systems Location: Middletown, NY (On-Site) Salary: $125,000 annually Seeking Director of Information Technology and Health Systems to lead enterprise IT infrastructure, healthcare technology platforms, cybersecurity, and EHR systems. This senior-level role supports operational excellence, compliance, and innovation across a nonprofit healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute IT strategy aligned with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and care delivery needs Oversee IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, endpoints, backup systems, cloud environments, and cybersecurity Lead EHR administration, integration, data integrity, interoperability, and clinical systems support Manage IT governance, vendor relationships, technology risk, disaster recovery, and business continuity efforts Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including hands-on infrastructure management 3+ years of leadership experience managing enterprise IT operations, technical teams, and EHR systems Experience with EHR platforms such as Netsmart, NextGen, or Epic; knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare IT security standards, cloud systems, cybersecurity, backup systems, patch management, and vendor management preferred
