Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst with a strong focus on application security and testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAST/DAST configurations, reviews, and remediations, as well as CI/CD pipeline security and SCM security. This role is critical in ensuring the security of our applications and infrastructure, and the successful candidate will work closely with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Conduct SAST and DAST assessments to identify vulnerabilities in applications and provide remediation guidance.

Implement and manage security configurations within CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure code deployment.

Review and enhance SCM security practices to protect source code and sensitive information.

Collaborate with development teams to integrate security testing into the software development lifecycle.

Perform regular security reviews and audits of applications and infrastructure.

Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends, and recommend improvements to security policies and procedures.

Provide training and support to development teams on secure coding practices and application security.

Document security findings and remediation efforts, and report to management on security posture.

Mandatory Skills:

Proven experience in application security and testing.

Strong knowledge of SAST and DAST tools and methodologies.

Experience with CI/CD pipeline security practices.

Familiarity with source code management (SCM) security.

Ability to analyze and remediate security vulnerabilities effectively.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or similar.

Experience with cloud security practices and tools.

Knowledge of secure coding standards and frameworks.

Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

5 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on application security.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
