Overview

LABUR is partnering with a client in the manufacturing industry to find an IT Project Manager who will lead web and software development initiatives over a 6-month contract engagement. This professional will drive projects from planning through delivery, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives. This role is fully remote with periodic travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage web and software development projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to keep initiatives on track and within scope
• Manage project budgets and allocate resources effectively across concurrent workstreams
• Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to drive project milestones and maintain accountability
• Deliver regular status reports, progress updates, and presentations to leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure all project documentation is complete, current, and properly maintained throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT project management experience, with a focus on web and software development projects
• Demonstrated experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, or similar platforms
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and third-party partnerships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to executive audiences
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• PMP or similar certification is a plus

Compensation

$65-$70/hr - Dependent on fit and experience
