Responsibilities

The Network Engineer operates company's internal data communications systems and is responsible for providing intermediate to advanced level of support to WAN (Wide Area Networks) connectivity and associated hardware including logical security and documentation. Responsible for planning and carrying out activities related to network monitoring, operations, and maintenance.

Plans, designs and implements local and wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms and protocols (including IP and VOIP).

Supports/troubleshoots network issues and coordinates with vendors for installation of such items as routers and switches.

Demonstrates a relentless commitment to meeting and exceeding customers' expectations while al-so achieving the goal of reducing the risks and costs of providing services.

Collaborates with other parts of the organization as required to first share and analyze customer re-quirements and then develop and implement the best strategy and processes to meet those re-quirements.

Monitors and/or troubleshoots network functions by utilizing tools for verification of services, moni-toring tool set availability and detecting, reporting, escalating, tracking and documenting anomalies.

Qualifications

Education:

4 year degree or equivalent network certification and experience.

Experience:

4 to 6 years of related experience with degree or required network certification.

Training/Certificaitons:

CCNP Certification

JNCIA Certification

For this role, the starting compensation range is $103,430 to $132,370, with flexibility to adjust higher or lower based on the full scope of qualifications.
