Our IT department is currently seeking an IT Vendor Analyst. The primary role of the IT Vendor Analyst is to support Third Party Risk Managers with analyzing information security risks associated with the companys vendors. This role also helps Third Party Risk Managers manage the relationships with vendors.
Work location and flexibility are subject to change based on evolving business needs, but generally, selected candidates who reside\:
- within 50 miles of Headquarters may be expected to work in a hybrid capacity, combining remote and onsite work when business needs necessitate.
- more than 50 miles from Headquarters must be flexible and available to travel to Fairfield, OH, on an occasional basis for special events, training sessions, or key meetings.
To ensure active engagement in meetings, it is mandatory for all IT associates to have cameras turned on for all interactions with other associates, customers, and stakeholders. Your camera must be on and positioned correctly to clearly show your face. This practice is crucial for maintaining connection and engagement, as non-verbal cues are essential for effective communication.

Risk Management
analyze information gathered for security risk assessments of vendors and vendor software of low to moderate complexity and risk
own low complexity third party risk requests
investigate third party incidents
analyze third party responses to questionnaires
be adept with assessment and TPRM monitoring tools
create assessment artifacts for vendor categories
use project documentation, system design documents, vendor security policies and other vendor security references (i.e., SOC II type 2, SIG, AUP, PCI ROC, TPRM Monitoring Reports, etc.)
follow procedures of the risk management process with guidance
scrutinize vendor practices in key areas\: security, disaster recovery/business continuity, and data management processes
support IT management relative to product ownership responsibility
assist in tracking/reconciling vendor product license usage/entitlements
assist in facilitation of vendor audits
assist in administration of vendor scorecard process
assist in product user administration
follow vendor governance policies and procedures with guidance
work with Third Party Risk Managers in supporting business partners and other IT service areas in the interpretation of gathered requirements
build internal relationships through communication and collaboration
fulfill identified business needs with the consultation of Third Party Risk Managers
create and maintain documentation to map business needs to vendor product/service portfolio and or product/service roadmap
Vendor Relationship
support IT management relative to product ownership responsibility
assist in tracking/reconciling vendor product license usage/entitlements
assist in facilitation of vendor audits
assist in administration of vendor scorecard process
assist in product user administration
follow vendor governance policies and procedures with guidance
