Pharmacy Business Analyst

Pharmacy Business Analyst is needed to perform the following duties :

Monitor daily pharmacy operations to ensure the compliance with applicable state laws and federal law, Board of pharmacy rules, HIPAA privacy requirements, and internal compliance policies and procedures.
Analyze recurring documentation issues, workflow exceptions, audit findings, and compliance trends using PrimeRX, Excel, and related records, and prepare summaries and recommendations for process improvement.
Analyze prescription, financial data and sales to identify trends and provide actionable insights to management.
Evaluate insurance reimbursement processes and recommend to maximize revenue and minimizing claim rejection.
Prepare detailed analytical reports and presentations to support strategic decision making by pharmacy management.
Monitor pharmacy-related regulatory updates, including changes affecting documentation standards controlled-substance compliance, privacy requirements, claims documentation, and pharmacy operational procedures, and assist in implementing required changes.
Utilize data visualization tools like Power BI, Excel, Tableau to present insights in a clear and actionable format.
Conduct cost-benefit analysis for new services, technologies, or vendor partnerships.
Assess current business processes and recommend system improvements using business analytics methodologies.
Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize inventory management and reduce operational control.
Collaborate with pharmacists and staff to streamline workflow and enhance operational productivity.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as prescription volume, turnaround time and profitability metrics.
Design and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for prescription processing, billing, and inventory control.
Perform compliance and audit analysis to ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and internal quality standards.
