IT Intern FT / PT Status - Part-Time Salary - $20.00 - $ Hourly Wage Remote Work / In-Office - In-Office / On-Site Recruiter - Melanie Butters | ... | ... Application Deadline - 8/1/2026 This internship is designed for individuals working toward or interested in a career in IT. You will join our IT team supporting an agency of 80 staff members, handling Level 1 desktop support and assisting in larger agency projects. Requests come through a mix of walk-up interactions and our Jira ticketing system. The schedule has flexibility within the hours of 8am - 5pm, Monday through Thursday, 20 hours a week. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities Identity & Access: help staff with account security and password recoveries Connectivity: support troubleshooting of Wi-Fi, network, and endpoint issues Hardware: assist with setup and fixes for workstations and peripherals Software Support: help resolve common issues within Windows and core applications Track and manage incoming tickets using Jira service management Proactively address recurring and unreported issues Communicate technical solutions clearly to non-technical staff Create and maintain technical documentation for agency processes Collaborate with the IT team to discuss and implement new solutions Qualifications Requirements Solid understanding of operating systems, with an emphasis on Windows Interest in current technologies such as cloud computing, automation, and current cybersecurity trends Comfortable working through technical issues that have multiple possible solutions Comfortable working face-to-face with agency staff Able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical people Reliable and proactive - keeping tickets current and addressing issues independently Preferred Qualifications Software & Skills Microsoft 365 Apps for Business Adobe Acrobat Pro / Acrobat Sign MCM (mobile device management) Cloud environment experience Scripting Google Meet Hardware Lenovo ThinkPad laptops Canon C5750 multifunction (print, copy, scan, send) Conference room A/V - Logitech, Sennheiser About the Role Location - 102 South 200 East, Suite 600 Salt Lake City, Utah, 84111 United States Background Check Required - You must successfully pass a criminal history check.
