Software Engineer

Silca, a dormakaba Company and a global player in the field of key and key duplication systems is looking for Software Engineer .

Based in Vittorio Veneto, the new colleague will be working within the R&D Key Systems dept. on the development of key cutting machine application stack as well as the evolutionary maintenance of tools and processes already in use

.
Your new role. Your future responsibilities:

Join the KCM team for developing Silcas applications and platforms;

Develop new features for key cutting machine softwares;

Write well-designed, testable code

Support team members and other function

Support the Life cycle management of our current product;

The skills we expect you to have:

• High School Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Computer Science or equivalent education background
• English (B2)
• Passion for automation, coding & learning new technologies
• Teamworking
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• 2+ years of experience in Front End programming
• 2+ years of experience in C++ programming

Good to have

• Familiarity with Linux OS, Yocto is a plus
• Knowledge of firmware programming is a plus
• Knowledge of Cloud environment is a plus
• Knowledge of Java is a plus
• Knowledge of Ruby programming
• Familiarity with Javascript framework (Angular, React, Vue)
