WordPress Website Programmer/Contractor compensation: by project, based on agreed upon estimate Looking for independent Programmers with thorough knowledge of: WordPress programming, responsive websites, e-commerce websites using WooCommerce, plugin installation and configuration, hosting and website maintenance for busy ad agency clients. Compensation: Submit hourly rates Employment type: contract Provide Your Availability: weekdays, evenings, weekends or all. Specific Expertise/Skills List: Thorough experience with Page builders such as: WP Bakery, Elementor or Bricks. Thorough experience with Themes such as: Astra, dt the7, Avada, WooCommerce, kadence, Blocksy, Jannal Knowledge or experience working with other website builders like Wix, Square Space, Shopify, Webflow, etc. Knowledge of how to maintain sites with older themes which no longer work with current PhP versions. A plus if you have had experience with Association Management programs including Wild Apricot or Membership Works Understanding online forms, databases (Ninja Forms, Contact Form 7, WP Forms) and reCAPTCHAs. Full knowledge of e-commerce, online payments, wedding registries and online store set-ups and installations Full understanding of payment and shipping integrations: Stripe, Paypal, Bank Merchant Accounts, Ship Station Ability to install real estate IDX into WordPress Realtor websites Installation of e-blasting programs, setting up templates, management and maintaining emails lists and analytics Email set-up and management, including anti-spam management programs and best practices Full understanding of AIOSEO and Yoast plugins and installations Ability to create private login areas, member areas for HOA residents and association memberships Ability to add and set-up online calendars with events and/or scheduling apps Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Business Profile. Google Certification a plus. Ability to set up and apply analytics code, set-up analytics goals, install and set-up recorded phone call app, apply social media sharing tools and virtual online chat accounts etc. Ability to apply redirects to other sites Full understanding of file sharing apps and collection of files. Full understanding of PHP, HTML, and images that dictate the overall design, layout, and functionality of a website. Full understanding of CSS, set-up, control visual elements like typography, color schemes, and widget locations without altering the underlying content. Ability to develop new websites on a Dev server. Ability to move entire websites and website databases from one hosting environment to a new hosting environment, such as WP Engine. Knowledge of best practices to optimize website performance, speed and SEO. Website Hosting and Maintenance - We host and maintain numerous client websites monthly. You will be required to manage website hosting, set-up hosting environments, set-up client emails and handle website maintenance. Maintenance includes monthly updates of core WordPress system, continual plugin updates, virus and/or malware removal, database backups to your external resources and cache removal and cleanup.
