Spreetail is looking for a Software Engineer II fluent in Mandarin and English to join our US-based team. You’ll build and integrate backend systems that connect global brands and their digital shelf to Spreetail’s fulfillment and delivery network — powering orders, inventory, and logistics data across regions. How you will achieve success:

• Build & Integrate: Develop scalable backend APIs and partner system integrations using C#/.NET.
• Optimize Systems: Improve performance, reliability, and scalability for fulfillment and logistics applications.
• Collaborate Globally: Work with U.S. and China-based teams to align requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Own Delivery: Translate product requirements into technical design, write clean and testable code, and ensure system reliability in production.
• Leverage AI: Use tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and ChatGPT to enhance productivity and documentation.

What experiences will help you in this role:

• Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills (spoken and written).
• 3–6 years of experience in C#/.NET backend development.
• Strong knowledge of API design, PostgreSQL, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• A collaborative, proactive approach to working across time zones.

Hours of Operation:

• This role operates primarily during standard business hours, with the expectation of occasionally providing off-hours technical support to our Mandarin-speaking brand partners in Asia. Support requests typically involve API integration guidance.
