We have an immediate need for an IT Support Engineer for an onsite opportunity in Wichita, Kansas. As an IT Support Engineer, you will provide hands-on technical assistance for hardware, software, network, and application-related issues across the organization. You will install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices while supporting end users in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment. The role involves troubleshooting Windows, Mac, Office applications, email systems, VPN connectivity, and remote access issues. You will also manage user accounts, permissions, and access through Active Directory, maintain accurate documentation, track IT assets, and coordinate with infrastructure and application teams for issue escalation and resolution. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience supporting Windows environments, basic Mac and Linux systems, and enterprise productivity tools such as Microsoft 365. Strong knowledge of Active Directory, ticketing systems, VPN, and networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP is essential. Excellent troubleshooting abilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical users are critical for success.
