Job Title: Java Lead

Location - Fort Mill, SC

Job Type - Contract

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end design and development of Java-based applications using modern frameworks and architectures Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and design guidelines Perform technical architecture design, solution evaluations, and roadmap planning

Guide team members through code reviews, technical mentoring, and problem-solving Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability Drive adoption of Microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native architectures Oversee CI/CD pipelines, release management, and deployment processes

Troubleshoot complex production issues and ensure timely resolution Participate in technical governance, estimations, and sprint planning activities Required

Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience in Java (Java 8+)

Proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security

Experience with Microservices architecture Strong REST API development and integration experience

Experience with ORM frameworks (Hibernate / JPA) Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ) Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) Strong understanding of design patterns and software architecture principles
