Job Description
Application for this position requires a Cover Letter, Resume, and 3 references.
This position is typically assigned to a district elementary building and is responsible for providing building personnel assistance in the use of technology; providing Tier I technical support in the use of applications and software within the building; configuring and installing computing devices, performing hardware repairs and software upgrades; solving printer and device connectivity issues; monitoring staff and student accounts; and troubleshooting software applications for grade levels and departments.
Maintain and monitor client workstations
Maintain and support building level equipment
Maintain and monitor servers for building staff
Maintain and troubleshoot network connectivity
Provide customer service and support
Provide support to computerized testing
Maintain Inventory
Provide support for building technology staff and other district personnel.
Education and Experience:
Up to one year of specialized or technical training beyond high school in computer science; and/or any satisfactory combination of education/experience training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above described duties
Valid Minnesota driver's license
Preferred
A minimum of two years of experience providing technical support of computing workstations, printers and/or other AV equipment.
