Transmit Security Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to design and implement security architectures for transmission networks. This role involves leading security hardening efforts, implementing encryption technologies, and ensuring compliance with security frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of transmission technologies including Optical, DWDM, OTN, MPLS, IP backbone, Microwave, and carrier-grade Ethernet.
• Expertise in network security such as IPsec, MACsec, TLS, PKI, and key management systems.
• Deep understanding of Layer 1-3 security risks and controls.
• Experience with firewalling, ACLs, routing security, and network monitoring tools.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CCNP, CCIE Security or Service Provider, GIAC, CEH, or equivalent security certifications.
• Experience securing NMS, OSS/BSS, and EMS platforms.
• Hands-on experience with major OEMs like Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Ciena, Huawei, Infinera.

• Design and implement security architectures for transmission networks.
• Lead security hardening of transmission equipment including routers, switches, and optical transport systems.
• Perform risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analysis for transmission infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, SOC, and Architecture teams to integrate security into network designs.
• Support audits, penetration testing, and remediation activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
