Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Deskside Support Technician with hands-on experience in end-user support. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively with remote teams to ensure seamless IT support and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide deskside and remote technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues

Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices

Respond to service tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner

Support operating systems, standard office applications, and enterprise tools

Coordinate with remote IT teams to resolve complex technical problems

Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and asset inventory

Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes, including device setup and user access

Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in deskside or IT support roles

Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows/Mac environments

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Comfortable collaborating with distributed/remote teams

Good communication and customer service skills

Basic knowledge of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, VPN, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL)

Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools

Exposure to enterprise environments and IT service management processes
