Deskside Support Technician - Windows, Hardware & End-User Support - 68359

Pay Rate: $20 - $25/hr

We have an immediate need for a Deskside Support Technician in Lafayette, IN. This is a fully onsite opportunity for a customer-focused IT professional who thrives in a hands-on support environment.

In this role, you will provide direct technical support to end users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues across desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. You will manage and prioritize incidents through ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution of critical, VIP, and escalated tickets.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting Windows 10 and 11 systems, supporting Apple and Android devices, resolving printer and network-related issues, and performing hardware break/fix activities. You will also handle system imaging, software deployment, and patching using tools such as Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM). Additionally, you will assist with workstation setups for new hires, perform preventive maintenance, support infrastructure teams when needed, and maintain accurate documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience supporting Windows-based environments, desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Familiarity with ServiceNow, SCCM, system imaging, hardware troubleshooting, and end-user support is essential. Excellent customer service, communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills are critical for success in this role. Experience working in enterprise IT support environments and collaborating across technical teams will be highly valuable.
