Senior Network Engineer (Technical Lead) - Hybrid (DC Area)

Serve as technical lead for enterprise network infrastructure and act as escalation point for complex issues

Design, configure, and support LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud connectivity (Azure)

Manage network security using NAC, next-gen firewalls, and zero-trust/SASE solutions

Support and troubleshoot MPLS circuits, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), and QoS

Administer centralized firewall management and maintain secure remote/site-to-site VPNs

Mentor junior engineers and maintain network documentation and diagrams

Hybrid schedule (2-3 days onsite) with occasional after-hours support

Qualifications:

7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience (degree or equivalent experience)

Strong hands-on experience with routing/switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network security tools

Experience with network monitoring tools and large-scale environments

CCNP preferred | Federal/regulated environment experience is a plus

Must be able to obtain public trust clearance
