Job Title: Security Architect
Location: Toronto, Canada (On-site Day 1)
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Security Architect with strong expertise in enterprise security architecture, cloud security, and Generative AI (GenAI). This role focuses on architecture review, governance, and secure adoption of AI-driven solutions, including LLMs and agentic systems.
The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with hands-on experience in designing secure architectures, authoring Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and guiding enterprise-level security governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architecture Review & Advisory
Conduct security reviews of solution architectures, ADRs, and AI-enabled platforms
Evaluate GenAI and agentic system designs for model security, data protection, and prompt integrity
Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, compliance, and risk tolerance
Provide actionable recommendations for both traditional and AI-based systems
2. Architecture Authoring & Governance
Author and maintain Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and security patterns
Develop reference architectures for GenAI, LLM integration, and multi-agent systems
Drive governance through structured architecture review processes (SARB)
Ensure clear documentation of decisions, trade-offs, and security controls
3. GenAI & Agentic Security
Define and implement controls for:
o Model access & data boundaries
o Prompt injection prevention
o Secure orchestration of AI agents
Establish guardrails for autonomous and multi-step AI systems
Evaluate security of AI platforms (e.g., Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI)
Contribute to enterprise policies for Responsible AI usage
4. Technical Leadership
Provide expertise across application, cloud, API, and data security
Support teams integrating GenAI copilots, RAG systems, and automation agents
Lead threat modeling for AI-integrated enterprise systems
5. Continuous Improvement & Automation
Leverage GenAI tools for security reviews, documentation, and design validation
Develop reusable prompts, frameworks, and review methodologies
Mentor teams on human-AI collaboration and secure AI adoption
Required Skills & Expertise
Strong experience in Security Architecture & Design
Hands-on knowledge of Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
Expertise in API Security, Cryptography, and Data Protection
Experience with GenAI / LLMs / AI Security concepts
Familiarity with tools like GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
Knowledge of PostgreSQL / Database Security
Understanding of Palo Alto or network security solutions
Experience in ServiceNow or enterprise workflow tools
Core Competencies
Enterprise security frameworks: TOGAF, SABSA, NIST CSF
GenAI architecture, model lifecycle, and governance
AI threat modeling, data leakage prevention, and agent control
Strong documentation and decision-making skills (ADR writing)
Cross-domain expertise in cloud, application, and data security
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
7+ years of experience in security architecture or solution design
Experience working with AI/ML or GenAI-based systems
Preferred Certifications
CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF
AI-related certifications (NIST AI RMF, Azure AI Engineer, etc.)
Success Metrics
Secure and scalable adoption of GenAI solutions
High-quality ADRs and architecture reviews
Reduced security risks across AI and enterprise systems
Establishment of best practices for secure AI governance
