About the Job

FIMBank is recruiting a Data Infrastructure Engineer within the IT - Data & Application management team, responsible for building and operating database, data integration, middleware, storage and data across the Group.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the design and build of ETL pipelines, including the implementation of data quality checks and validation controls.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, data migration, integration, and replication activities for database and middleware systems.
• Oversee and coordinate the release of patches, upgrades, and configuration changes to production systems.
• Provide operational support, including handling support calls and escalating issues where necessary.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to design and implement data solutions while supporting the underlying infrastructure.
• Design, test, implement, and document procedures and runbooks specific to the role to ensure operational continuity and resilience.
• Stay adjourned and adhere to the latest AML/CFT policies and procedures.

Qualifications and skills:

• Relevant academic qualifications in Information Technology, Data, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Preferably 1-2 years of relevant experience in data engineering or database administration roles.
• Strong understanding of SQL.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
• Able to take ownership and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent team player with strong integrity and professional ethics.
