Hiring Guidewire PolicyCenter Integration Specialist in Markham, Ontario

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Guidewire Integration and Configuration in Policy Center
• 8 years of experience in Java/J2EE (EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Web Services, JMS, JPA)
• Able to integrate applications using XML and GOSU
• At least Associate level Guidewire Cloud certification; ACE Certification - Cloud is a plus
• Strong Java server-side programming experience with a solid understanding of object-oriented concepts
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

(Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• Experience with messaging, web services, and database connectivity
• Experience with Scrum or other Agile development methodologies
• Insurance knowledge, specifically Personal Lines Claims and Commercial Claims

(Key tasks and expectations for the role)

• Responsible for designing and implementing integration points between external applications/services and the Guidewire platforms
• Produce technical design documents for integration points
• Develop custom integration points to connect Guidewire applications with other internal and external systems
