You should have demonstrable knowledge in cybersecurity administration or systems administration, through practical, hands-on work experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team are essential.
You should have a solid working knowledge of Linux, mostly Red Hat, or Windows based systems and have an active CompTIA Security+ certification or higher IAT Certification.
You should also be able to obtain a US Secret Security or higher level Clearance.
Having experience with ESS, ACAS, or Splunk security tools is a plus, as well as experience with Windows Active Directory and a familiarity with DISA STIGs.
THE WORK
As a member of our team, you will be involved in a variety of activities aimed at enhancing the cyber resiliency of LM Solid State Radar family of systems. This includes tasks such as:
Hardening operating systems, applications, and network devices
Conducting vulnerability scans
Continuous monitoring of the security posture of the system
Assisting with Government Certification Test and Evaluation (CT&E) and Vulnerability Testing
Implementing security updates and patches
Applying configuration changes to ESS, ACAS, and Splunk security tools
Providing support to maintain the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of the system to include support of the RMF package
Supporting system administrators, engineers, and operators when troubleshooting events
Collaboration with system stakeholders to ensure the cybersecurity posture of the system is maintained
Interfacing with and supporting the ISSO and other government security stakeholders
Supporting the Security Impact Analysis (SIA) process through the generation of Contract Deliverables (CDRL) and RMF supporting artifacts both on unclassified and classified networks.
Please Note:
This position requires a government Secret security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
This position will involve around 15% travel to our CONUS and OCONUS customer sites
