The Web Application Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of websites and web-based applications. This role ensures web environment stability, security, and performance, working closely with server administrators, managing and configuring applications, and troubleshooting issues. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both application development and infrastructure management, with the ability to bridge the gap between development and operations in large-scale environments. Responsibilities: Application Management: Install, configure, and maintain web server software and web-based applications. Web Operations: Manage site updates, DNS records, and website configuration Security & Compliance: Monitor systems for security breaches, and ensure compliance with government standards Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support to end-users, identify root causes of application failures, and resolve performance issues. Collaboration & Deployment: Work with developers, system administrators, and content teams to coordinate deployments.
