Led at least 1 end-to-end SAP migration/upgrade delivered via multiple vendors, from plan/build through cutover and hypercare, with documented go-live dates.
Managed multi-vendor program governance (weekly steering, vendor PM syncs, RAID/decision logs) and an integrated plan across 3+ vendors/workstreams; enforced on-time delivery of milestones, dependencies, and sign-offs.
Managed testing governance across vendors (SIT/UAT/regression/integration/performance).
Managed vendor including SOWs and change requests, tracked deliverables against acceptance criteria, and managed budget/burn (e.g., monthly forecast vs. actuals) with clear escalation paths for scope/schedule slippage.

Position Summary
The Project Manager will lead the end to end migration of SAP systems from on premise infrastructure to a cloud based environment (SAP S/4HANA Cloud, RISE with SAP). The role is responsible for planning, execution, governance, vendor coordination, risk management, and delivery of successful migration and upgrade while ensuring minimal disruption to operations. This role leads cross functional teams through SAP system upgrades and migrations while ensuring compliance with GxP, cGMP, data integrity, and validation requirements.
The Project Manager will oversee all phases of the project lifecyclefrom initiation and planning through execution, cutover, and post go live stabilizationensuring project objectives are met on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining uninterrupted support for manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and finance operations
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
Lead the full lifecycle of SAP cloud migration initiatives, including planning, design, build, test, cutover, and postgolive stabilization by closely working with service provides/technical leads.
Develop and manage integrated project plans across infrastructure, application, data, security, and business workstreams
Define project scope, objectives, success criteria, and deliverables in alignment with business and IT strategy.
Track milestones, manage RAID logs, and status reporting.
Drive execution across all SAP workstreams, including Finance (FI/CO), Supply Chain (MM/PP/SD), Manufacturing (PP PI), Quality (QM), Warehouse (WM/EWM), and Interfaces.
Ensure effective coordination between internal teams, SAP system integrators, and third party vendors.
Stakeholder & Cross Functional Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for business leaders, IT leadership, and executive sponsors
Provide regular status reporting, risk updates, financial tracking, and milestone reviews to Steering Committees
GxP, Validation & Compliance
Coordinate validation activities, including validation master planning, Risk assessments, Traceability between requirements, testing, and release.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Support team to support audits, inspections, and documentation reviews.
Risk, Change & Cutover Management
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate technical, operational, and compliance risks.
Partner with change management and business teams to support training, communications, and user readiness
Plan and execute system cutover, data migration, and go live activities to ensure business continuity.
Ensure smooth transition from project delivery to operations and support teams
Vendor Management
Manage multiple vendors (system integrator, SAP/cloud providers and service provider partners), driving governance, integrated delivery plans, and cross vendor dependencies.
Coordinate vendor deliverables, dependencies, SLAs, and integrated timelines
Ensure strong governance, accountability, and issue resolution across all partners
Oversee SOWs and change orders
Financial & Governance Oversight
Own the project budget (CapEx/OpEx as applicable), including baseline creation, monthly forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis.
Produce weekly/monthly status reporting for stakeholders and steering committees, including schedule, RAID/RAG, and financials (burn vs. forecast).
Drive cost optimization and transparency throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications:
Experience
8-12+ years of IT project management experience with large enterprise systems preferably in pharma, biotech, or other regulated industries.
Proven experience leading onpremise to cloud migrations, preferably SAPfocused
Handson experience managing multivendor, multiworkstream programs
Project Management certification preferred (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
Technical & Functional Knowledge
Strong understanding of:
o SAP landscapes and integration architecture
o Cloud platforms (AWS) and SAP cloud deployment models
o Data migration, security, compliance, and infrastructure concepts
Familiarity with RISE with SAP, cloud hosting models/environments is a strong plus.
Project Management
Expert in project governance, financial management, RAID management, and executive reporting
Strong planning, scheduling, risk management, and issue resolution skills.
Experience using project management and collaboration tools including MS Project, ServiceNow, Jira).
Ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and complex dependencies
