Location (mandatory): Maryville ,TN The Mid-Level Systems Administrator will support day-to-day operations of the on-premise Data Center, web servers, and SQL servers. This role involves hands-on management of local IT infrastructure, hardware procurement and configuration, data storage systems, and disaster recovery. The administrator will work closely with a senior mentor to learn internal systems, ensure uptime and security compliance, and maintain reliable IT operations across the facility. Job Responsibilities: Administer local Data Center domain and Active Directory. Configure, patch, and maintain servers; ensure software license compliance. Assist with SQL Server setup, maintenance, cluster management, backups, recovery, and licensing. Maintain and test Disaster Recovery systems and manage related service contracts. Oversee SAN maintenance, server configurations, and local file administration. Manage purchasing, setup, and evaluation of hardware (servers, SANs, network switches, cell phones, tablets, and printers). Maintain Data Center contracts with internet and cellular providers. Administer local building security, fire, and alarm systems. Oversee maintenance of manufacturing workstations and onsite printing systems. Ensure corporate compliance for local file servers and user management. Be available to respond on-site during off-business hours. Skills: 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator. Strong knowledge of on-premise Data Center management. Proficiency with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and SQL Server. Experience with SAN configuration and maintenance. Familiarity with Disaster Recovery processes and testing. Understanding of server patching, licensing compliance, and hardware configuration. Ability to manage vendor/service contracts. Basic networking knowledge (switches, local configuration). Attention to detail in equipment labeling and documentation. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Capability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle urgent issues after hours. Education/Experience: No Specific Qualification is required for this job
