This role will be a key role from design and prototyping to field testing and productionworking on cutting-edge embedded platforms, radar processing systems, and distributed architectures supporting national security and defense applications. The Role Design, develop, and maintain embedded and real-time software systems for sensor-driven platforms Extend commercial technologies for use in military and austere environments Build and support multiple SDR operating modes (e.g., radar, electronic warfare, mesh communications, passive RF) Integrate sensor data into command and control (C2) systems (e.g., ATAK, FAAD-C2, Lattice) Collaborate cross-functionally on hardware/software co-design with electrical engineering teams (SoC, FPGA, PCB, RF systems) Develop tools and interfaces for operators and analysts, including GUIs, dashboards, and visualization platforms Support system integration, lab validation, and hardware-in-the-loop testing Contribute to system architecture, design reviews, and technical documentation (ICDs, requirements) Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience developing embedded systems in defense, aerospace, robotics, or sensing environments Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python on Linux-based embedded platforms (ARM, SoC, GPU edge devices, FPGA-integrated systems) Experience designing and executing software validation from unit to system level Familiarity with Git-based workflows, Agile development, and CI/CD pipelines Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams Preferred Experience Experience with radar systems, RF signal processing, GPS/GNSS, or ISR platforms Background in distributed systems, APIs (REST/WebSockets), and real-time data pipelines Experience with Docker, containerization, and DevSecOps practices Exposure to AI/ML outputs (e.g., CNNs) and data-driven systems Knowledge of secure system design, cryptographic interfaces, and system hardening Experience with RMF compliance and integration of military C2 systems (e.g., TAK, FAAD-C2, SAPIENT) Familiarity with MATLAB, simulation tools, and hardware-in-the-loop environments Additional Requirements U.S. Citizenship required Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance #LI-CM1 Apply Now Share This Post
