What you'll do

Design, implement, and support enterprise VMware infrastructure, including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and clustered environmentsManage and optimize virtual machines supporting Windows, Linux, and AIX operating systemsEnsure high availability, performance, scalability, and security across VMware platformsTroubleshoot complex virtualization and systemlevel issues; deliver root cause analysisPerform proactive monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning, and health checksSupport infrastructure security controls and assist with audit and compliance requirementsDeploy, maintain, and decommission virtual systems per corporate standardsPartner with application, network, and business teams on infrastructure initiativesIdentify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements within the VMware stackParticipate in a 24x7 oncall rotation supporting missioncritical systemsSupport disaster recovery environments, including replication and DR testingResearch and evaluate emerging virtualization and infrastructure technologiesDocument system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting workflows

What you'll bring

10-15 years enterprise level experienceBachelors degree preferred but will consider appropriate work experience and/or certifications

Strong experience administering VMware vSphere environments in an enterprise settingHandson expertise with ESXi hosts, vCenter, clusters, snapshots, HA/DRS, and storage integrationExperience supporting virtualized Windows and Linux server environmentsSolid understanding of infrastructure security, monitoring, and performance optimizationExperience with disaster recovery planning and testing in virtual environmentsStrong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skillsA continuous improvement mindset with interest in automation and modern infrastructure practices

Salary Range for this role is $108K-$162K
