About the role

As a Product Owner I , you will support the product management and development teams by gathering and documenting business requirements, assisting with process mapping, and learning to manage portions of the product backlog. This is a growth-oriented role designed for someone who is analytical, curious, and passionate about using technology to improve user experiences and business outcomes.

What youll do (Essential Responsibilities)

  • Product Ownership - Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for assigned technology solutions in alignment with business objectives.
  • Business Analysis - Elicit, document, and validate business requirements through interviews, workshops, and data analysis; translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Process Design & Optimization - Analyze and document current-state processes; identify pain points and design future-state workflows that improve efficiency, quality, and user satisfaction.
  • Solution Design - Collaborate with architects, developers, UX/UI designers, and QA to ensure the solution design meets functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Backlog Management - Own and prioritize the product backlog; ensure clarity, visibility, and readiness of user stories for development teams in Agile environments.
  • Stake Holder Management - Act as the voice of the customer and business across the product lifecycle; facilitate alignment across departments and ensure transparency in prioritization decisions.
  • Data Driven Decision Making - Use metrics, KPIs, and user feedback to measure solution effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Change Management - Partner with training, support, and communication teams to ensure smooth adoption and value realization of new or enhanced products.
  • Compliance & Risk - Ensure products meet relevant legal, security, and compliance standards throughout the lifecycle.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What youll bring (Qualifications)

  • Education: Bachelors degree in relevant field preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, or related field.
  • Manages 12 low-complexity existing products with guidance, focusing on steady delivery and developing skills.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe , Kanban) and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proven experience in process mapping, workflow design, and process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar).
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams, with exceptional communication and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency with product management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Figma , Lucidchart , Miro).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information, perform root cause analysis, and solve problems creatively
  • High emotional intelligence and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently.
  • A high degree of personal accountability and trustworthiness, a commitment to working within Quantum Healths policies, values and ethics, and to protecting the sensitive data entrusted to us.
