Infrastructure Architect Azure & Network Solutions

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure Networking Services load balancing and switching and routing technologies including Arista and Cisco. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can design and implement robust network solutions to support our business objectives. The position operates during the day shift and does not require travel.

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement scalable network architectures that align with business goals and objectives.

• Oversee the deployment and management of Azure Networking Services to ensure optimal performance and security.

• Provide expert guidance on load balancing strategies to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

• Configure and maintain Arista switching and routing solutions to support seamless network operations.

• Implement Cisco switching and routing technologies to ensure robust and secure network connectivity.

• Manage wireless network infrastructure to deliver high-quality connectivity and user experience.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with existing IT infrastructure.

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and maintain service quality.

• Develop and enforce network security policies to protect company data and resources.

• Lead network optimization initiatives to improve performance and reduce operational costs.

• Document network configurations and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.

• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in network solutions.

• Provide technical support and training to IT staff to enhance their understanding of network systems.

Work model:

What you need to have to be considered

• Possess a deep understanding of Azure Networking Services and their application in enterprise environments.

• Demonstrate proficiency in configuring and managing load balancing technologies.

• Have extensive experience with Arista switching and routing solutions.

• Show expertise in Cisco switching and routing technologies.

• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.

• Display excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

• Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $99,000 to $133,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizants discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizants applicable plans.
