Job Description
The IT Service Desk Agent will provide front-line support for employee email, user accounts, printers, and phones. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills along with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
We're transforming the end user experience with IT. The IT Service Desk Agent will take ownership of reducing repeat support issues and proactively solving end user concerns to minimize disruption. The right candidate for this position will have a passion for improving the environment while building an excellent rapport with all staff.
What You'll Do (Functions and Responsibilities):
- Provide support to employees on a variety of hardware and software issues
- Provision and support user accounts and permissions
- Troubleshoot employee issues with email, Windows, printers, and phones
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues including wireless networking and VPN
- Receive and document all inbound tickets, emails, phone calls, and in-person requests for IT services
- Communicate issue status and resolution proactively
- Ensure tickets are escalated appropriately, notifying team members when necessary
- Assist with regular hardware and software inventory audits
- Document, track and monitor technical problems and solutions
- Help to foster and grow a positive and proactive IT Experience for the organization
- Help other team members when necessary
- Suggest new procedures to reduce repeat issues
Qualifications
What Were Looking For (Minimum Qualifications):
- Experience supporting Windows 10 & 11, MacOS, iOS, and Android operating systems
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft Office products
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with employees in all departments and Brands
- Excellent organizational, customer relationship, verbal and written communication skills
- Highly dependable and professional
- Excellent problem solving and listening skills
Education:
- Associate's Degree in a related discipline OR
- 1-2 years prior relevant experience
