Job Description
An employer is looking to add an Infrastructure Engineer to their team in Charlotte, NC. This person will join a team that is responsible for auditing and supporting a portion of their IT security environment. This person will work cross functionally with analysts and engineers, to ensure the security posture is mature and their applications are protected. The engineers will support the audit team, as they talk to internal application teams to understand how their application works, how they integrate with other applications, and the dependencies. It will be their job to ensure that the application is kept secure and that they understand what is required if the application needed to be recovered or rebuilt. They will be responsible for assessing tools and applications and creating/documenting plans to ensure they are prepared. This person will also support the infrastructure in this environment and needs to understand the components that make up an IT organization (AD, DNS, virtualization, networking, storage, backup, etc.) They need to understand how these components work and how they integrate. They will work with tool administrators to ensure the tool is functioning in a mature state and make recommendations on ways to automate or improve processes. They will help to create workflow automations and ensure they are implemented correctly.

Skills and Requirements
5-10 years of experience as an Infrastructure/Solutions Engineer
Extensive experience building and assessing infrastructure environments that include Active Directory, DNS, virtualization, networking, storage, and backup tools, etc.
Experience evaluating and creating solutions for infrastructure environments, to ensure they are mature
Experience building disaster recovery sites and plans null
