The lab develops innovative computational algorithms to create conformational ensemble models. This position will be involved in the computational side of the lab, focusing on using bioinformatics to understand the role of entropy in protein function. Duties and Responsibilities Design, analyze, and present large structural bioinformatic pipelines Develop and benchmark algorithms for conformational ensemble modeling Collaborate with domain scientists to integrate outputs with experimental pipelines and refine hypotheses in an iterative design-test-learn loop Qualifications MS or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Computational Chemistry, or related field. Experience with machine learning Strong background in structural biology and/or statistical mechanics Proven ability to build and debug large-scale ML systems in Python Experience with building large bioinformatic pipelines Strong skills in balancing multiple projects
