As a Full-stack Engineer on the Amazon Live Creator and Data Services Team, you'll be at the forefront of AI innovation and scalable service development. Key Technical Initiatives:

- Implement AI solutions within established frameworks to enhance Creator workflows

Key job responsibilities
- Design and implement distributed backend systems and RESTful APIs, focusing on scalability and reliability for both web and mobile applications
- Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS/Android platforms while ensuring seamless integration with backend services, utilizing frameworks such as React Native or native development
- Design and implement AI-powered features within existing service architectures to enhance product functionality across both backend and mobile fronts
- Work closely with UX designers, Product Managers, Applied Scientists, and other Software Engineers to implement robust user experiences
- Execute performance optimization tasks and monitor system metrics to meet latency and reliability targets
- Mentor junior engineers on technical tasks and demonstrate engineering best practices through example

A day in the life
You will develop and maintain features that leverage AI-based tools for creators and brands, including video processing, stream management, and content categorization systems to enhance the viewing experience for Amazon customers. You'll implement and utilize AI tools and frameworks to improve development efficiency, automate workflows, and optimize engineering processes. Your strong background in distributed systems, performance optimization, and metrics analysis will help drive improvements in our service architecture while maintaining high reliability standards. You'll work collaboratively within established architectural patterns to build scalable solutions that support our rapidly growing business.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
