Job Summary
The Senior HR Technology Consultant collaborates with internal and external business partners to provide strategic technical solutions, recommendations and guidance through HR digital innovation and technology optimization. This role will serve as the primary consultant for one or more Workday HCM modules and support other HR Technologies as needed

Essential Functions

  • Guides stakeholders through the implementation, optimization and integration of various HR Technology solutions from business requirements gathering through solution delivery
  • Streamlines, automates and improves existing HR Technology processes by applying best practice through research and comprehensive analysis
  • Delivers new functionality and enhancements through Workday optimization and configuration projects
  • Provides expert guidance on Workday core functionality and business processes for various platform modules (which could include Workday Core HCM, Absence, Adaptive Planning, Help, Time Tracking, Recruiting, PRISM Analytics, Extend, Learning, Configurable Security and more)
  • Develops detailed requirements and process documentation, including functional and technical specifications for HR Technology implementations
  • Educates on HR Technology protocols, procedures and new functionality by delivering training and consultation
  • Maintains awareness of current technology trends with a focus on product and service development
  • Increases technical, business and HR acumen by participating in networking and learning opportunities
  • Supports governance processes, road mapping exercises, and cross functional resource planning
  • Provides consultation to internal and external audit partners on systems functionality, security protocols, segregation of duties, and SOX Controls.
  • Participates on an Agile team as a functional developer for Workday enhancement configuration projects

Required Qualifications for Position

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Information Systems/Technology or related field
  • 3+ years of HR Technology consulting/HRIS implementation
  • 3+ years of Workday HCM Business Process Configuration, Reporting and Security
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills (both internally and externally).
  • Understanding of risks associated with implementing various business systems; approaches and assists with facilitating management of those risks.
  • Understanding of Human Resources policies and procedures and appropriate application.
  • Results oriented and possesses excellent problem solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage varied resources to complete the job.
  • Attitude of responsiveness and willingness to go the extra mile to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Able to maintain a positive relationship with stakeholders and business partners across the company.
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position

  • Previous HR technology project management experience and vendor management
  • Experience with SAP Successfactors or other employee performance management system
  • Workday Professional Certification
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) and ability to incorporate those processes within Workday Modules or other HR Technology

Salary Range*:

$93,800.00 - $140,700.00

*The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidates skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience , as well as internal pay equity .
