ManTech is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Staff Information Security Analyst to support our Identity and Access Management (IAM) program in Chantilly, VA . This entry-level opportunity provides vital Tier 1 customer support for identity services in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You will be the first point of contact for users needing assistance with access, credentials, and identity-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in processing updates to personal identity information (PII) in DEERS, and provide support for Common Access Cards (CAC), tokens, and PIN resets
- Deliver front-line support to users through helpdesk channels, ensuring a positive customer experience
- Monitor and respond to service tickets in systems such as JIRA and ServiceNow related to access and identity requests
- Escalate complex issues as necessary while maintaining ownership of initial support interactions
- Support documentation and reporting needs related to user access and credentials
- Availability to work between 6:00 AM ET and 5:00 PM ET (shifts may vary)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or 4+ years of additional professional experience in lieu of degree
- 2+ years of experience in a helpdesk, customer service, or IT support role
- Basic understanding of IT concepts and troubleshooting methods
- Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) or willingness to learn
- Experience working with sensitive information such as PII
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and SharePoint
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to cybersecurity practices or training in related disciplines
- Experience working in Department of Defense (DoD) environments
- Previous experience with ticketing platforms such as JIRA or ServiceNow
- Basic knowledge of identity and access management concepts
Security Clearance:
- Must hold an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered for this role
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain seated at a workstation for extended periods
- Occasional movement within the office to access equipment or communicate with team members
- Engage with users via email, phone, or virtual platforms; occasional participation in presentations
