Healthcare Network Project Manager
The Network Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of Infrastructure/networking related projects. In this position you will be managing the new build or upgrade of Hospital Physician offices, clinics and hospitals. Qualified candidates will be hands on in the construction/upgrade efforts in addition to leading the initiatives. Individual will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all phases of the project life-cycle, including requirements gathering and analysis, budgeting and planning, design, development, testing, and implementation. Position will manage teams of employees and contractors on projects and be responsible for all project deliverables, budget, and schedule. Position involves broad interaction with different functional areas and information technology. This position will be responsible for the use of best practices in Project Management methodologies.
Roles and Responsibilities
Accountability for overseeing and coordinating the entire life cycle of assigned projects (requirements gathering and analysis, budgeting and planning, design development, testing and implementation) primarily focused on managing large projects based on multiple technologies
Demonstrated experience in managing programs or complex projects involving evolving technologies, multiple projects and oversight of multiple resources
Experience with development and reporting of project status, issues and project financial analysis
Ability to hold team members accountable, set clear performance standards, resolve performance issues, keep team engaged and on task
Strong data analysis and problem solving skills
Strong understanding of Infrastructure/Network principles and best practices
Excellent organization, communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
Escalate issues to Program Manager when required
Provide status updates to Program Manager as warranted, once per week minimum
Present project status updates to IT Executive Steering Committee as requested
Dedicate to exemplary customer service
Qualifications
Minimum five years experience in managing Infrastructure/Networking projects
Minimum five years' experience in Project Management
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be a flexible and forward thinking
PMP Certification
Bachelors degree in Business or Computer Science
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
