Title: Power BI Analyst
Location: St. Paul, MN
Duration: 6 Months | 100% Onsite
Pay Range : $63/ hr to $66/ hr (On W2)
We are looking for a IT Business Analyst (Power BI Analyst) to join one of our Leading Healthcare Client.
Position Summary:
Seeking a Power BI Analyst to join a Scrum team, responsible for designing and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI. This role supports data-driven decision-making through effective data visualization, reporting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business users to gather and document reporting requirements
- Define ETL processes and data transformation needs
- Document user stories using Agile tools like Microsoft DevOps or JIRA
- Work closely with BI architects and engineers
- Attend Agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels
- Support end users and engineers with help desk tickets
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a BI or Power BI Analyst
- Proficiency with Power BI and data warehousing concepts
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments (preferred)
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Work Breakdown:
- 40% Requirements gathering
- 20% Documenting user stories
- 10% ETL process documentation
- 10% Agile meetings
- 10% End-user and engineering support
- 10% Testing and architectural reviews
General Business Analyst Duties:
- Analyze, document, and recommend improvements for business processes
- Facilitate meetings and ensure alignment between business and technical teams
- Develop process flows, test plans, and support validation activities
- Provide ongoing support for applications and system enhancements
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and internal policies
- Support QMS, EMS, and other regulatory initiatives
