Our client, a leading player in the financial services industry, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join their team. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting critical automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** QA Automation Engineer
**Location:** Jersey City, NJ - hybrid schedule
**Pay Range:** $65-67/hour W2
(due to client rules we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontractors in any way; all candiates must be able to work on Experis' W2 directly)
**What's the Job?**
+ Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using IBM Rational Functional Tester (RFT) and Selenium WebDriver.
+ Collaborate with QA leads, business analysts, and developers to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases.
+ Execute automated regression, functional, and integration tests for banking applications.
+ Analyze test results, log defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
+ Contribute to continuous integration and test automation frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
**What's Needed?**
+ 7+ years of hands-on QA automation experience in the banking or financial services domain.
+ Strong expertise in IBM Rational Functional Tester (RFT) for script development and execution.
+ Experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java/Python for web-based UI automation.
+ Solid knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
+ Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
