Top 3 Skills Required Cloud Platforms: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, CloudFront, CloudWatch), Google Cloud Platform.
Networking: VPC design, VPN, Direct Connect, DNS, Load Balancers.
Database Technologies: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, BigQuery.
DevOps & Automation: Terraform, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines.
Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS). Project Management: Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Job Description/Responsibilities
Architecture Leadership:
Define and lead the overall application architecture strategy for cloud migration, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.

Solution Design:
Design scalable, resilient, and secure application solutions on AWS, incorporating best practices for cloud-native development and modernization.

Migration Planning:
Develop detailed migration blueprints, assess application dependencies, and create phased migration plans from Google Cloud and on-prem environments to AWS.

Version Control Systems:
Strong experience working with Git.

CI/CD Process:
Expertise in deployment using Azure DevOps and GitLab.

Cloud Services:
Good understanding of AWS and Google Cloud Platform for managing deployments.

Containers and Kubernetes:
Fundamental knowledge for converting manifests and deploying workloads in EKS from GKE.

Containerization:
Partner with development teams to containerize applications using Docker and manage workloads in Kubernetes.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Proven experience in Terraform to re-write code for deployment in AWS from Google Cloud Platform.

Scripting Languages:
Strong proficiency in PowerShell or Bash.

Operating Systems:
Fundamental understanding of Linux and Windows Server.

Automation:
A genuine passion for automation and a strong desire to learn new technologies.

Collaboration:
A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Mentorship:
Act as a lead for the DevOps team, mentor and guide juniors, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
