Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Infrastructure Engineer
with a strong background in
Linux system administration and build engineering
. The successful candidate will work closely with software development, DevOps, and IT teams to manage, optimize, and scale build infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and system-level configurations in a Linux-heavy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and support Linux-based build and infrastructure environments (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
Design and optimize automated build systems, tools, and pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
Develop and maintain custom build scripts (Bash, Python, Groovy, etc.).
Troubleshoot system and build issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable fixes.
Manage infrastructure configuration using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
Monitor infrastructure health and performance; apply patches, upgrades, and security updates.
Partner with development and DevOps teams to improve build efficiency and deployment reliability.
Contribute to infrastructure design decisions, capacity planning, and scalability strategies.
Document infrastructure, processes, and troubleshooting steps to support team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5 8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or build/release engineering roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems administration and shell scripting.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
Experience with version control systems (Git preferred).
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
