As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at the Community Foodbank of New Jersey, you will with advanced expertise in network engineering including Microsoft 365 (Global Admin-level), Windows Server, and Azure Cloud, to bring solution architecture experience to design and lead infrastructure initiatives. Working with the IT team, you will be instrumental in maintaining, modernizing, and scaling CFBNJ's infrastructure, with a focus on security, reliability, and alignment with organizational goals. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and managed service partners to ensure operational excellence and architectural consistency.

What you'll do in your role:

  • Architect and deploy innovative infrastructure solutions that harmonize with our business objectives, seamlessly integrating on-premise, hybrid, and cloud systems.
  • Act as the Microsoft 365 Global Administrator, overseeing tenant-wide settings, compliance configurations, licensing initiatives, security measures, and role-based acce90ss management.
  • Craft, implement, and sustain robust LAN, WAN, and wireless networks alongside essential server infrastructure (firewalls, switches, routers, UPS, load balancers).
  • Supervise Windows Server environments, manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and the entire patching lifecycle.
  • Administer Azure services, focusing on virtual networks, resource groups, VPNs, identity management, and monitoring tools.
  • Spearhead the development and application of best practices in infrastructure security, including firewall policies, conditional access protocols, endpoint protection, and the Microsoft Defender suite.
  • Propel automation processes using PowerShell and other scripting tools to enhance infrastructure efficiency and ensure compliance.
  • Lead key infrastructure projects, such as data center enhancements, migrations, SaaS platform onboarding, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Create comprehensive documentation and implement effective communication of changes, designs, and configurations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

  • 5+ years in progressive IT infrastructure roles with proven hands-on experience in networking, cloud, and Microsoft 365 at the enterprise/tenant level.
  • Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Cisco (CCNA, CCNP), Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104 or higher), CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience acting as a Microsoft 365 Global Admin, with deep knowledge of tenant security, licensing, and compliance settings.
  • Strong experience with Windows Server and hybrid identity (Active Directory & Azure AD Connect).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking and services in Azure and AWS.
  • Excellent scripting skills with PowerShell or equivalent.
  • Experience with ITSM platforms (ConnectWise, ServiceNow, etc.).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including ability to write technical documentation.

Pay Transparency: The salary range for this position is $ 90,092-$121,889 .The final rate may be influenced by factors such as the position's scope and responsibilities, work experience, training, job-related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
