We are partnering with a leading healthcare technology organization to source a Senior UX Researcher for a 40 hr per week contract-to-hire opportunity likely 6 month contract prior to hire. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker passionate about user-centered design and digital innovation in the healthcare space. The Senior UX Researcher will play a key role in shaping AI-enhanced member experiences by leading research initiatives for Human-AI interactions that inform product design and business strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (UX, Product, Tech, Marketing) to define research goals and align with business objectives, create best practices, establish research protocols and more.Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research, including user interviews, usability testing, and journey mapping.Develop research plans, prototypes, and testing frameworks to evaluate human-AI interactions and digital experiences.Translate insights into actionable recommendations that influence product vision, design, and enterprise KPIs.Stay current on UX, AI, and healthcare trends to inform future-state experiences.Shape and lead the UX research strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and ethical design practices.Must-Have Qualifications7+ years of experience in UX research within a professional services or product environment.Proven ability to lead research initiatives that drive strategic decisions and product innovation.Proficiency with tools such as Dovetail, User Interviews, and Figma.Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior stakeholders.Experience with A/B testing, field research, card sorting, and insight synthesis.Deep understanding of human-centered design and its application in service-based industries.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.Nice-to-HavesExperience in the healthcare industry or health services vertical.Familiarity with AI-enhanced digital experiences and ethical design frameworks.Passion for storytelling and systems thinking in research narratives.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data.
