Job Description:
Ohio Department of Medicaid is looking for a
Salesforce Developer (Technical Specialist 3)
to support the development of their in-house Customer Experience Management System (CEMS). This system helps manage grievances, appeals, and complaints data for Medicaid programs. The developer will be a key part of the application development team.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
Design, develop, and test custom Salesforce applications using Flows, Apex, and Lightning components.
Build and manage Salesforce Communities (Experience Cloud).
Create custom reports, dashboards, and analytics.
Document all technical work including configurations, processes, and user guides.
Support data import/export using tools like Data Loader.
Perform unit testing and help users with UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
Assist in migrating from legacy systems to Salesforce.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Collaborate with team members and provide knowledge transfer to State IT staff.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong hands-on experience with
Salesforce development
and configuration.
Experience with
Salesforce Communities (Experience Cloud)
.
Ability to create workflows, process builders, and flows.
Knowledge of
CRM concepts
and best practices.
Experience with
Salesforce data migration tools
(e.g., Data Loader).
Familiarity with
Salesforce deployment practices
, sandboxes, and release management.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
