Job Summary:
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, provisioning, securing, automating, monitoring, and maintaining all Cloud based components such as: Networks, Firewalls, Servers, Storage, Microsoft Entra, and their related subsystems.
Job Duties:
Designs, provisions, secures, automates, monitors, and maintains all cloud infrastructure components
Creates and maintains cloud standards and documentation
Monitors, analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves performance related issues
Collaborates with Cloud providers and partners to architect, create, and execute BDO's Cloud strategies
Collaborates with all IT teams to architect and implement desired cloud solutions
Designs, implements, and maintains data protection for all cloud systems
Designs, implements, and maintains BC/DR functionality for all cloud systems
Mentors other team members
Enforces lifecycle management across all cloud infrastructure components with consideration to cost
Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education:
High school diploma or GED, required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, preferred
Experience:
Four (4) or more years of experience managing infrastructure for multiple (50+) systems, required
Two (2) or more years of experience working within Cloud environments, preferred
License/Certifications:
AZ-104 - Microsoft Azure Administrator, AZ-305 Microsoft Azure Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Azure DevOps Solutions required
Terraform Associate, preferred
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - Foundations Associate, preferred
Software:
Microsoft PowerShell, preferred
Azure DevOps or Github, preferred
Terraform automation experience, preferred
Language:
N/A
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to identify potential security risks
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure and deal with unexpected problems in a professional manner
